The Catalog of Coastal Aerial Photographs contains over 45,000 citations referring to aerial photographs available at the Water Resources Center Archives. Collection emphasis is on U.S. coastal areas with a strong focus on California, Oregon, Washington, Guam and Hawaii. Coastal regions of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, and New Jersey are also well represented. These black & white photos were taken by the U.S Navy and the U.S. Marine Corps from the mid-1940’s to the mid-1950’s.

Other external aerial photograph collections, of California and other locations, are available at the Earth Sciences & Maps Library at UC Berkeley and other California universities.
