How to Request Materials

University of California faculty, staff, & students
WRCA maintains cooperative lending arrangements with the other University of California campuses through the UC Berkeley Interlibrary Services Department. Please contact your campus Interlibrary Loan Service to obtain WRCA materials.

Non-UC borrowers
Requests for material may be submitted directly to WRCA in any of the following ways: OCLC (code=WCA), ALA interlibrary loan forms, telephone (510-642-2666), fax (510-642-9143), or electronically.

Note: Manuscript materials and items published before 1970 do not circulate. Copies may be provided, depending on the condition of the materials.

Services & Fees
Loan $30.00 per item.
Photocopy or Scan (text)
  Standard $25 for up to 30 pages, $0.25 for each additional page
  Manuscript material $30 for up to 30 pages, $1 for each additional page
  Color or oversized Cost of copy or scan + $15/hr handling charge (1 hour minimum)
Delivery
  U.S. mail, domestic No additional charge
  U.S. mail, int'l. $5
  FedEX Available upon request (please provide FedEx account number)
  Fax Rush fee applies (for faxes of over 30 pages, additional charges apply)
  Rush $15 per item (applies to requests for same-day mailing or faxing)
List of California Water Districts: Excel (.xls) file containing approximately 600 entries; includes contact information. Free for academic use (a written statement of purpose is required); $50 for non-academic purposes.
Note: Prepayment is required for international orders (except Canada).
